The items that are easiest for us to sell are those from premium brands (e.g. & Other Stories, Whistles, COS, Patagonia) and luxury brands (e.g. Chloé, Gucci, Prada, Stella McCartney, Burberry), however you can also donate high-street items (e.g. Zara, Topshop, Asos, H&M).
All donated items should:
–Have limited signs of wear, including pilling, fading and shrinkage.
–Have no damage, such as missing parts, rips, stains and odours.
Have no alterations, including missing sizing information / inner labels.
While high-street brands must be in new or excellent condition, there is a bit more flexibility with premium and luxury items which can have minor defects or small signs of wear.

If an item does not pass the Thrift+ quality checks, they are donated to major charity retailers such as Oxfam or Barnardos, so you can still be confident they will benefit a good cause. It is not possible to return these items to you.
Returning your FARFETCH Donate Bag
Step 1: Register your bag. To begin, scan the QR code with the camera on your smartphone, or visit thrift.plus/register to enter the code on your ThriftBag. Follow the instructions on screen to learn more about the service, how to choose your charity, and how much to donate.
Step 2: Fill up your bag, following the brand & condition guidelines.
Step 3: Return your bag. Scan your QR code again or visit thrift.plus/return. Follow the instructions on screen to choose your free return option — you can choose from Collect+, InPost, or DHL home collection. All of these options are free — find out more here.
FARFETCH customers can choose a DHL home collection free of charge. Please note you’ll need access to a printer for this option. Collections are available Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 17:00.
To choose this option, select DHL Collection when you are going through the returns process, and follow the instructions on screen. You will need to confirm your collection address and date, then print a shipping label which needs to be attached securely to your bag (without covering the QR code).

Once you have arranged the return of your bag, you will be able to track its progress via the provider. You will also receive an email from Thrift+ notifying you when your bag has been received, as well as being told when your bag has been uploaded and your items are ready for review.
Sales from my FARFETCH Donate Bag
You will receive an email when your items have been photographed and uploaded so you can review the suggested descriptions, details and prices. You’ll have the chance to change these details before your donation goes live, and can also edit them at any time after that by logging into your Thrift+ account and going to the Re-Sell section to find your item details.
Thrift+ charges 33% commission on successful sales with a minimum fee of £5. For all items donated, at least £1 from each sale will go to your chosen charity, which ensures that Thrift+ is as effective as a high-street charity shop. You will not be charged anything up front as fees are deducted from the final sale amounts.
You can decide whether you want to donate all of your proceeds to charity, or whether you’d prefer to keep half as FARFETCH credit and donate the other half to charity.

When an item sells, your credit will be automatically applied to your FARFETCH account for you — this may take up to 48 hours. You will receive a notification directly from FARFETCH once your credit is available in your account.
